Program and Breakout Sessions

Where is the conference being held?

The conference will open on May 3 at Mary MacKillop Place, Mount Street, North Sydney.

Participants will be guided from Mary MacKillop Place to the SMC Conference & Function Centre for the remainder of the conference. Details will be provided closer to the event.

The conference will continue at the SMC Conference & Function Centre, Goulburn Street, Sydney for the afternoon of Monday, all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Conference Mass will be held at St Peter Julian’s, George Street, Sydney.

Where can I find information about the conference program and breakout sessions?

How do I choose my breakout sessions?

Breakout sessions options will be sent to you after you register and closer to the conference start date of May 3, 2027.

What if I want to change my breakout session choice?

Please contact us if you would like to change your choice and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

The SMC Conference venue has free wi-fi. Details will be made available during the conference.

How do I register?

Visit the official event website, fill out the online registration form, and pay the fee to secure your spot.

How secure are my credit card details?

Humanatix never views, handles or stores your raw credit card number and payment

details are encrypted using secure sockets layer (SSL) technology and processed through PCI DSS certified and compliant third-party gateways.

Are Earlybird discounts available?

Earlybird discounts are available for full paying participants. Concession participants remain the same.

Can I register and buy a ticket at the event?

Unfortunately, you can’t register on the day.

I can’t pay by credit card; is there an alternate payment method?

Please email us or call and we can find an alternate payment method.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

A full refund can be offered up to two weeks before May 3, 2027.

Travel and Accommodation

Can I get to the venues by public transport?

The conference will start at Mary MacKillop Place, North Sydney: There are several bus routes close to MMP and it’s a short walk from North Sydney Train Station and Victoria Cross Metro Station.

Participants will be guided from Mary MacKillop Place to the SMC Conference & Function Centre for the remainder of the conference. Details will be provided closer to the event.

SMC Conference & Function Centre: There are several bus stops along Elizabeth Street and it’s a short walk from Museum Station or Town Hall Station. Gadigal is the closest Metro Station.

Can I drive and park?

Mary MacKillop Place: One-hour metered parking is available in Mount Street and there are several private car parking stations within walking distance.

SMC Conference & Function Centre: Metered street parking is available close to the Centre and the closest parking station is Secure Parking Station Goulburn Street.

Packing and Preparation

What should I wear?

We suggest comfortable business casual clothing. Pack a light jumper or jacket.

What items do I need to bring?

Pack your phone charger, a notepad, a pen, water bottle and keep cup. Conference satchels, handbooks and lanyards will be provided upon registration at the venue.

Accessibility and Dietary requests

Can you accommodate my accessibility needs?

Both venues can accommodate most accessibility needs. Please get in touch if you would like clarity.

What is food included?

Morning tea and lunch is offered each day of the conference. Afternoon tea is offered on Monday and Tuesday and breakfast is offered on Wednesday.

Can my dietary requirements be accommodated?
